The Early Years


1993 Lifelong school mates, Javier Valle “Bishop” (Bass), Rodrigo Valle “Tivo” (guitar) Carlos Carafa (guitar) Marco Salinas “Jansen” drums, started the then unnamed band.
1995 First gig “Minim Poultice” followed by a radio interview, and the recording of a first original song “Dying prey”, the band remained mostly inactive the rest of the year.
1996 More radio interviews, and the recording of two instrumental tracks .
1997 Marylinda Dewitt joins the band as a vocalist, opening the band to a wider range of possibilities. The band changed name to “Le Vow”.
EP RELEASES: A promotional EP featuring “Low bow song” and “Sphynx Noise” is released
SINGLE RELEASES: “Low bow song” is released
GIGS: A series of performances in most of the pubs in La Paz (Bolivia’s capital city).
L. Dewitt leaves the country and the band.
Geraldine O’Brien “Gerald” joins Le Vow and completes the band’s sound.
